Manzanita Oregon Styled Elopement + Photo Retreat

This past March I had the pleasure of attending a photography retreat with a group of incredibly badass female photographers in beautiful Manzanita, Oregon. We had a great time shooting a styled elopement between several real life couples and worked with some of the best vendors in Oregon, all while staying in the dreamiest beachfront location - the Historic Reed House. With the ocean directly outside our front door, we played on the beach and fell asleep to the sounds of waves crashing on sand. In the world of professional photography, it's very easy to get caught up in comparing yourself to others and get overwhelmed. I feel so incredibly lucky to have a solid circle of friends in this industry that know the true value of community over competition. Work hard, be nice to people, and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing. You'll be so damn happy you did.
